No. The petrol station network is fairly widespread in Namibia. All 4x4
vehicles carry extra fuel canisters because of their higher consumption. See standard equipment for 4x4

Credit cards are accepted by the bigger petrol stations around Windhoek
but smaller fuel outlets around the country only accept cash.
